A piece we were happy to rescue! A beautiful antique brooch, set with approx 1.65ctw of Old Mine cut diamonds. The diamonds are set in buttercup baskets which do make the stones appear to have a much larger face up. A very, very charming piece which appear to have been part of a much larger piece of jewelry (can you imagine what the intact piece must have looked like?). The stones are bright and sparkly. In yellow gold, with the baskets in silver. There is evidence that the pin mechanism is a recent addition. This piece deserves to be worn more often and we think a conversion to a pendant is the best option!

Bottom stone is approx .55ct. Surrounding stones weigh 1.10ctw for a total weight of 1.65cts.
H/I/J color, SI clarity (GIA standards).
